CHECKING THE CLUTCH PUSH RODS

1. Check:
O-ring

Push rod 2 "1"

Ball "2"
G
Push rod 1 "3"
G
Cracks/damage/wear → Replace the defec-
tive part(s).
Push rod bearing
G
Damage/wear → Replace.

2. Measure:
Clutch push rod 1 bending limit
G
Out of specification → Replace the push rod.
Clutch push rod 1 bending limit
0.35 mm (0.01378 in)

INSTALLING THE CLUTCH

1. Install:
Push rod 1

Ball
G
Clutch housing
G
Bearing
G
Collar
G
2. Install:
Spring seat plate "1"
G
Spring "2"
G
TIP
Install the spring "2" as shown in the illustration.
3. Install:

Lubricate the engine oil.
