IP status
page

The following information is displayed:
Field
Description
IP section:
Protocol
Indicates the IP protocol supported by the VCS.
IPv4: it only accepts registrations from endpoints using an IPv4 address, and will only take calls
between two endpoints or devices communicating via IPv4. It will communicate with other systems
via IPv4 only.
IPv6: it only accepts registrations from endpoints using an IPv6 address, and will only take calls
between two endpoints communicating via IPv6. It will communicate with other systems via IPv6
only.
Both: it accepts registrations from endpoints using either an IPv4 or IPv6 address, and takes calls
using either protocol. If a call is between an IPv4-only and an IPv6-only endpoint, the VCS will act as
an IPv4 to IPv6 gateway (note that this will require a traversal call license). The VCS can
communicate with other systems via either protocol.

The IPv4 gateway used by VCS.

The IPv6 gateway used by VCS.

Dual
Indicates whether the second LAN port has been enabled. This is done by installing the Dual
Network
Network Interfaces option key.
Interfaces
LAN 1
Shows the IPv4 address and subnet mask, and IPv6 address of the LAN 1 port.
LAN 2
If the Dual Network Interfaces option key has been installed, this shows the IPv4 address and subnet
mask, and IPv6 address of the LAN 2 port.
DNS section:
Server
The IP addresses of each of the DNS servers that are queried when resolving domain names. Up to
