(Pre SB 15-0705-33-1) Slide the nipple (95) off of the lampholder (105) and back along
the electrical wires to expose the electrical wire connections.
(c)
(Post SB 15-0705-33-1) Remove the heat shrink tubing from the black and the white wire
(d)
Remove two screws (part of lampholder 105) and terminals (100) from the lampholder
(105).
(e)
Cut the electrical wire at base of the terminals (100). Discard terminals (100) and, if
present, slide the old VARGLAS-H-C-2 tubing (TU420) off of electrical wires. Discard
tubing.
(f)
(Post SB 15-0705-33-1) Put a 1.00 inch (25.4 mm) long piece of M23053/11-205-C
heat shrink tubing, clear, 0.375 inch (9.52 mm) inside diameter x 2.0 inch (51 mm)
long over the black wire.
(g)
(Post SB 15-0705-33-1) Put a 1.00 inch (25.4 mm) long piece of M23053/11-205-C
heat shrink tubing, clear, 0.375 inch (9.52 mm) inside diameter x 2.0 inch (51 mm)
long over the white wire.
(h)
Strip 0.25 inch (6.4 mm) insulation from end of the electrical wire(s).
(i)
Slide a new piece of VARGLAS-H-C-2 tubing (TU420) over the electrical wires. The
tubing will need to be adjusted on the electrical wires later.
(j)
Use 59250 crimping tool to install the new terminals (100) on the electrical wire(s).
(k)
Position two terminals (100) on the lampholder (105) and attach with two screws (part
of the lampholder 105).
(l)
(Post SB 15-0705-33-1) Slide M23053/11-205-C heat shrink tubing, clear, 0.375 inch
(9.52 mm) inside diameter x 2.0 inch (51 mm) long over the screws and use a heat gun to
shrink sleeving as shown in Figure 6001.
(m) (Pre SB 15-0705-33-1) Slide the nipple (95) along the electrical wires and tubing onto
the lampholder (105) to cover electrical wire connections.
NOTE:
(n)
Adjust VARGLAS-H-C-2 tubing (TU420) on the electrical wires so it is about 0.50 inch
(12.7 mm) from the end of the connector (85) and about 0.50 inch (12.7 mm) from the
end of the nipple (95) as shown in Figure 6002.
(o)
Tie MIL-T-43435, Type II, Finish E lacing tape in two locations on VARGLAS-H-C-2 tubing
(TU420) as shown in Figure 6002. The MIL-T-43435, Type II, Finish E lacing tape should
be installed about 0.50 inch (12.7 mm) from each end of the tubing.

Replace the damaged terminal (110, IPL Figure 1) as follows:
(a)
Remove the nut (120), the screw (115) and the terminal (110) from the reflector (135).
(b)
Cut the electrical wire at the base of terminal (110). Discard the terminal (110).
(c)
Strip 0.25 inch (6.4 mm) insulation from the end of electrical wire.
(d)
Use 59250 crimping tool to install the new terminal (110) on the electrical wire.
(e)
Position the terminal (110) on the reflector (135) and attach with screw (115) and nut
(120).
