Procedure (TASK 33-30-15-000-801-A01)
A.
Job Setup (Subtask 33-30-15-000-001-A01)

SPECIFIED MATERIALS. MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT EQUIVALENT CAN
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND CAN MAKE THE WARRANTY NOT
APPLICABLE.

DO NOT DROP OR HIT THE DOOR MOUNTED CARGO LOADING LIGHT DURING
THESE PROCEDURES. THE DOOR MOUNTED CARGO LOADING LIGHT
CONTAINS AN ASSEMBLY THAT CAN BE DAMAGED FROM INCORRECT USE.
CAUTION:
DO THESE PROCEDURES IN A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT TO PREVENT DAMAGE
TO MECHANICAL COMPONENTS.

Obey the precautions.
(2)
The item numbers shown in the DPL are the same as the item numbers on the exploded view
illustration(s). To find a part number, find the part on the illustration and note the item number.
Find the item number in the parts list and read the correct part number. Item numbers refer to
the same figure until a different figure is specified.
(3)
Before disassembly, use TESTING AND FAULT ISOLATION (PGBLK 33-30-15-1000) to
examine the condition of the unit or to find the malfunction. Do this to prevent disassembly
that is not necessary.
(4)
As an aid for assembly, tag the items that are disconnected to show where the connections
were made.
(5)
Identify the tie points for the wire assembly to prevent damage to the wire insulation during
assembly.
B.
Disassembly of Door Mounted Cargo Loading Light (Subtask 33-30-15-000-002-A01)
(1)
Loosen two captive screws (65, IPL Figure 1) and swing the lens assembly (-20) away from the
light subassembly (-75) to length of the lens lanyard (50). Do not remove the captive screws
(65) or the spacers (70) from the lens assembly (-20) unless there is damage.
NOTE:
(2)
Carefully push down on the lamp (5) and turn CCW 1/4 turn to remove lamp (5) from the
lampholder (105).
(3)
If required, remove the nut (30), the screw (25) and one end of the lens lanyard (50) from the
light subassembly (-75).
(4)
If required, remove the nut (60), the screw (55) and other end of the lens lanyard (50) from
the lens assembly (-20).
(5)
If present, cut the ties or MIL-T-43435, Type II, Finish E lacing tape (6).
(6)
Slide tubing and the nipple (95) off of the lampholder (105) back along electrical wires
to expose the wire connections.
(7)
(Post SB 15-0705-33-1) Remove the heat shrink from both the black and white wires.
(8)
If damaged, remove two screws (part of lampholder 105) and the terminals (100) from the
lampholder (105).
(9)
If damaged, remove the nut (120), screw (115) and the terminal (110) from the reflector (135).
