Procedure (TASK 33-30-15-810-801-A01)
A.
Job Setup (Subtask 33-30-15-810-001-A01)
WARNING:

SPECIFIED MATERIALS. MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT EQUIVALENT CAN
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND CAN MAKE THE WARRANTY NOT
APPLICABLE.
CAUTION:
DO NOT DROP OR HIT THE DOOR MOUNTED CARGO LOADING LIGHT DURING
THESE PROCEDURES. THE DOOR MOUNTED CARGO LOADING LIGHT
CONTAINS AN ASSEMBLY THAT CAN BE DAMAGED FROM INCORRECT USE.
CAUTION:
DO THESE PROCEDURES IN A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT TO PREVENT DAMAGE
TO MECHANICAL COMPONENTS.

Obey the precautions.
(2)
Conduct all tests at a temperature of 65 to 85 F (18 to 29 C) and in the order presented,
unless otherwise noted. Failure of any test is cause for failure of the cargo light. Correct the
fault before testing is continued.
(3)
The following test is based on ATP 15-0705, Revision A.
B.
Pretest Procedures (Subtask 33-30-15-810-002-A01)
(1)
Review any shipping tags or forms to determine cause for removal from aircraft.
(2)
Wipe the door mounted cargo loading light with a clean A-A-59323 cleaning cloth to remove
dirt, dust, and foreign material.
(3)
Visually inspect the cargo light for signs of missing, broken, bent or cracked parts. Damaged
parts must be replaced before the cargo light is tested.
C.
Testing of Door Mounted Cargo Loading Light (Subtask 33-30-15-810-003-A01)
(1)
Connect the door mounted cargo loading light to test setup as follows:

Lamp (5, IPL Figure 1) must be installed in the light subassembly (-75) during the test.
(3)
Turn variable regulated power supply (0-30 VDC, 6 amperes minimum) ON and adjust for
27.6 to 28.4 VDC.
(4)
Apply 28 VDC between Pin 1 and Pin 2 of connector (85).
• Lamp (5) must come on with no variance in intensity.
(5)
If lamp (5) comes on, turn variable regulated power supply (0-30 VDC, 6 amperes minimum)
OFF and disconnect door mounted cargo loading light from test setup.
D.
Posttest Procedures (Subtask 33-30-15-810-004-A01)
(1)
If the cargo light passes all the tests, prepare it for shipment or storage. Refer to STORAGE
(INCLUDING TRANSPORTATION) (PGBLK 33-30-15-15000), for details.
(2)
If the cargo light did not pass all the tests, repair or replace defective parts, then repeat all the
tests. Refer to Paragraph 2.E. (Subtask 33-30-15-810-005-A01), for details.

Fault Isolation (Subtask 33-30-15-810-005-A01)
(1)
Refer to Table 1003 for fault isolation.
(2)
Refer to IPL Figure 1 for all the item numbers unless specified differently.
