Definition
Inspection for subsurface cracks, porosity,
inclusions, or other nonhomogeneous
material structure by use of high frequency
electromagnetic wave equipment. Parts are
scanned and compared to similar parts or test
specimens having known material defects.

build up the size or provide surface protection.
