4.4. Servicing Honeywell Options
The following table shows the placement of memory devices for the memory capacity
options. The table is organized so that the DIMM sockets are in the same order as they
are located on the motherboard.

Use the following procedure to install the memory upgrade. See also "Dell™
PowerEdge™ PE SC1430 Systems User's Guide".
ESD HAZARD
Memory is electrostatically sensitive. Use a grounding strap and grounded
work surfaces and equipment when handling these components. Store and
transport parts only in electrostatically safe containers.
Step
1
Perform all procedures in Section 4.1 to access the motherboard
including:
Shutting down system
Disconnecting power cord and cables from the server
Accessing the electronics.
