Install server in cabinet using the slide mount option

Use the following procedure to install the server in the cabinet using the slide mount
hardware.
Step
1
Open the front cabinet door to access the inside of the cabinet.

If the retaining brackets are attached, loosen the two captivated screws on
each bracket and remove them.

Verify that the slide mount bottom and sides are clear of any installed
cables.

Using the mounting tray handle, pull the tray to its fully extended and locked
position.

Using two people, place the server on the mounting tray so the bottom
surface of the front bezel is aligned with the front surface of the slide tray
and slide the tray back into the console.

Replace the two retaining brackets and tighten the four captivated screws.

From the rear of the cabinet, slide the retainer bracket (L-shaped angle
bracket) forward in its slot until it contacts the back surface of the server
chassis. Tighten the lock nut.
