4.8.6 Installing Cooling Water pipes for the Water-Cooled
Module
Prerequisites
Clean the water inlet engineering pipes to avoid impurities entering into the
water-cooled module.
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the plugs from the water pipes.
Step 2 Apply thread sealant to the second to fourth circles of the pipe connector threads.
Step 3 Connect water pipes by using a wrench. The connector is G1-1/2 inch with internal
screw threads.
Issue 13 (2023-08-20)
Use a welding torch to remove the plugs at the refrigerant pipe ends.
Connect the gas and liquid pipes to the gas and liquid pipes of the indoor unit
respectively.
NO TE
Take protective measures, such as spreading a piece of wet cloth, around the welding
position, to avoid burning the needle valves, pipe plugs of other end, thermal insulation
foam, cables, and labels.
