ABB i-bus® KNX FUNCTION
In the parameter Switch output reacts to central Switch group object, it can be defined for each Switch
Actuator output whether the output reacts to the central group object.
The following group objects are available for central activation of the Shutter Actuator output pairs:
• Move blind/shutter Up-Down
• Slat adjustment/stop Up-Down
• Move to position height
• Move to position slat
In the parameter Output reacts to central shutter group objects, it can be defined for each Shutter Ac-
tuator output pair whether the output pair reacts to the central group objects.
One group object is additionally available for joint scene activation:
• Scene 1 ... 64
Only outputs for which the retrieved scene was parameterized react to the retrieval.

Function Logic

The function Logic can be used to influence the reaction of an output by means of the following logic
functions:
• AND
• OR
• Exclusive OR
• GATE
Two input group objects (Connection A , Connection B ) and one result group object (Result ) are avail-
able for each AND, OR, exclusive OR and GATE logic operation.
The result can be inverted, linked with any output within the device or output on the group object
Result .
The result depends on the selected logic connection and the values in the corresponding input group ob-
jects. Refer to the table below for information about the reaction of the logic functions:

The result is recalculated when a value is received on one of the two input group objects Connection A
or Connection B .

Explanation
The result is 1 if both input values are 1.
The result is 1 if one of the input values is 1.
The result is 1 if the input values differ.
The value of group object Switch is pro-
cessed only if the GATE is open. The value is
ignored if the GATE is closed.
