Date&Time Submenu (Extended Menu Only)
The Date&Time submenu is used to change the date and time of the Hydran 201Ti. The
internal clock provides the date and time unless the battery is disconnected.

Communication Submenu (Extended Menu Only)

Note: The Hydran 201Ti's communication parameters can only be modified using the
H201Ti's keypad and display. They cannot be changed using the Hydran Host software.
This submenu is used to set the communication channel (RS-232 link or supervisory link)
and the communication parameters.
4.5.6.1

CommChannel and DefaultChannel

The Hydran 201Ti switches automatically from the communication channel indicated with
the CommChannel parameter to the one indicated with the DefaultChannel parameter if
the communications cease for five minutes.
• The CommChannel parameter is used to select a temporary channel, generally the
RS-232 link, for the purpose of connecting a host computer during installation, trouble-
shooting or maintenance procedures.
• The DefaultChannel parameter is used to select the permanent channel, generally the
supervisory link.
For each of these two parameters, there are only two available channels:
• H201Ti-DB9 (RS-232 link): Use this channel if the H201Ti is connected directly to a
host computer running the Hydran Host software. For this connection, use the H201Ti's
DB-9 male connector located at the back of the CPU module. The RS-232 link is used
only occasionally or for brief periods of time during the initial verification or
maintenance procedures.
• SupervisoryLink: Use this channel if the H201Ti communicates with a H201Ci
Controller.
