Preparing the Valve

1.
Wipe the inside of the valve.
2.
Clean the valve's threads.
3.
Wipe up any trace of oil and dispose of the collected oil according to company
standards.

Installing the Brass Adaptor Onto the Valve

1.
Cover the adaptor's threads with Teflon tape (see Figure 6-4 on page 6-21).
Use only Teflon tape to seal the threads of both the adaptor and

Hydran 201 sensor. Wrap at least 4 to 5 layers of tape around the
threads.
