2.4. Conveyor Width Adjusting Procedure

(1) The conveyor width adjusting procedure when the jig is to be setup on the conveyor for
various teaching operations, is described as follows.
(2) Select " Unit Adj. " and " Conveyor " in the " Maint. " window.
The operation procedure is described as follows, taking an example of setup of the
"placement height confirmation supporting jig" (JG-0191) (160 × 80mm).
[1] Select "Conveyor".
(Because, in the SIGMA Series the width of the "L-Conveyor" or "R-Conveyor" can
not be changed independently, it is not required to select any of these buttons. Even
when such a button is selected, the operation same as in the case of selecting
"Conveyor", is performed.)
[2] When the value in the "Tgt Wd" box is clicked, the "Ten-key" window opens.
[3] When "80" is entered in the box and the "Set" key is clicked, the target value is
changed to "80mm".
[4] As above, input "0.8" in the "Clearance" text box.
[5] Select "Desig Width" button and then press the [START] button on the operation
panel.
The conveyor width is changed to the set value.
Then, perform the following operation.
* When the user set value for the "Clearance" is changed, return to the previous value
when the operation is completed.
