4.10.2. Ring Attachment

(1) Connect the cable connector of the new slip ring to the connector from the center
shaft.
* Make sure that the connectors are connected securely to each other.
(2) Temporarily fix the slip ring using the slip ring set screw (M3 × L8, with SW/FW).
* Take care not to drop any set screw.
(3) Tie up the cables so that they can be housed in the coupling.
① Make the wires round and house them between the upper and lower shafts.
② Bind wires and connectors so that they can be housed in the coupling (inside the
dot lines).
During repair operation, use the wiring protection tube and house the cables in it.
