14.2.2 Making Focal and Aperture Adjustments

To make focal and aperture adjustments using the focal and exposure rings on the
lens while checking the image on the monitor:
1.
Adjust the position of the camera to display the inspection object or the object with a feature on the
monitor screen.
2.
Select "Setting Help" > "Focus" or "Aperture" from the menu bar.
3.
Move the yellow rectangle to the position at which the feature of the object exists. Set the start
position first, then the end point.
4.
Turn the focal ring or aperture ring in the brighter or darker direction until it stops and press the
ENTER key.
5.
Turn in the opposite direction from what you turned the ring at the previous step until it stops and
press the ENTER key.
6.
Keep turning the focal ring or the aperture ring until the word "OK" is displayed in the status display
area.
A level bar showing consistent percentage is displayed in the status display area.
7.
When the word "OK" is displayed, immediately stop turning the focus ring and then press the ENTER
key.
Try to stop turning the focus ring when the level bar moves to nearly 100 %.
Now you completed focal adjustment.
