9.3 Saving Images

9.3.1 What Is Image Save?

Two images that have been captured by two cameras can be stored in the memory of the PV310. This is called
Image Save. The number of images that can be stored in the memory is up to 16 pairs of Cameras 1 and 2
images. But, the PV310 loses all the saved images when the power is removed.
You can call the saved image as a memory image. If the camera cannot take the object, you can create and
adjust a checker by saving the image of the object in advance.
Information on the saved images
The following information is added to the saved images.
Year, Month, Day and Time when the image was saved:
When you select "Load Saved Image", the information on year, month, day and time when the image was
saved is displayed. This information is quoted from the Calendar settings saved in the PV310.
Capture Count:
Indicates how many times the image was scanned after turning on the PV310, switching the product types
or resetting the statistics data to save the image.
How to save the image
You can save images following the three ways shown below. In any case, the number of images that can be
stored in the memory of PV310 is up to 16 pairs of Cameras 1 and 2 images.
Saving the current memory images using the keypad
You can save the memory images that have been already captured by operating the keypad.
Saving images per inspection
You can save a new image whenever the camera captures it.
Saving the image that has been judged as NG during inspection
If the results of the Judgment formulas saved as a conditional formula are judged as "NG", the memory images
will be saved in the PV310.
When only one camera is connected to PV310, the image captured by the camera is stored in Memory 1 and
a black image, nothing captured, is stored in Memory 2.
