6.5.3 Setting Procedure

1.
Proceed up to "Configure the setting for preprocessing" at the third step following section 6.2.1.

Set "Area Size Adj." as necessary.
The "Area Size Adj." function can expand or contract the inspection area to fit the object. Refer to page 85.

Select "Position Adj." and press the ENTER key.
(If a position adjustment checker is not created, the sub menu item
"Position Adj." is not displayed)
When making a position /rotation adjustment, specify the number of
Position Adjustment. But, the number of
position/rotation-adjustment-referred checkers must be lower than
the number of the position/rotation-adjustment-referring checker.
(See page 140 for Position Adjustment and 152 for Rotation
Adjustment.)
4.
Select "OK Judg. Min.".
What is OK Judgment Maximum/Minimum value?
These are the standard values of gray average value. If the results are within
the values you set as OK Judgment Maximum/Minimum, the object will be
judged as "OK".
5.
Specify the values for "OK Judg. Max." and "OK Judg. Min.".
If you do not know what standard value that you should set to, measure the areas of a good object and a
not good object, and set to the values that a good object can be judged as OK.
6.
Press the A key to begin testing.
Confirm the judgment result and gray average shown in the message area.
If you output the judgment results to the external device, use the "Judgment" function, and if the measurement
data, use the "Num. Calcu." function.
