6.14 Position Adjustment (Gray Edge)

6.14.1 Setting Procedure

The procedures for detecting and setting edges in horizontal and vertical search areas are the same as those for
"Gray Edge". (See page 99). In this section, the functional differences between Position Adjustment (Gray Edge)
and Gray Edge are described.
Detection Position
The Position Adjustment (Gray Edge) function cannot set "Detection Position". The function always detects the
nearest edge from the start point.
Priority
The Priority function is effective if an object moves largely either vertically or in horizontally. When the object
moves largely in the horizontal direction, set to "Horizontal". When it moves largely in the vertical direction, set to
"Vertical".
Different condition for each area
Different condition to detect an edge can be set for horizontal area and vertical area. However, the following items
must be set the same.
