6.4.3 Setting Procedure
1.
Set a checker area following "Basic Setting of a Checker" on page 66.
2.
Select "Target".
Select "White (Extr.)" or "Black (Not Extr.)" from the sub menu.

For a binary image, measures the area of the pixels in white.

For an extraction image, counts the number of pixels in the "extract" color.

For an extraction image, counts the number of pixels in the "not extract" color.

Select "Filter".
When filtering, select "Dilate" or "Erode" from the submenu checking the image.
Filter:
Enlarges or reduces a cluster of the object image pixels selected at step 2. Mainly
use this function when you delete a slight noise or enhance a detected area.

Select "Position Adj.".
When making a position /rotation adjustment, specify the number of Position
Adjustment. You can specify only the Position/ Rotation Adjustments assigned to
the lower numbers than the Binary Edges.
(See page 115 for Position Adjustment and 129 for Rotation Adjustment.)
5.
Select "OK Judge. Max.".
The value shown on the right of "OK Judge. Max." is highlighted.
OK Judgement Max. /Min.
These are the standard values of the measured pixels. If the measurement results are within the preset
range, it will be judged "OK".
6.
Specify the values for "OK Judge. Max." and "OK Judge. Min.".
If you do not know what standard value you should set to, measure the areas of a good object and a not
good object first and set to the values that a good object can be judged OK
7.
Press the A key to begin to test.
Confirm the judgement result and area value that appear in the message area of the monitor screen.
If you output the judgement result to the external device, use the "Judgement Output" function
and if the measurement data, use the "Num. Calcu." function.
