Sending Commands to All Domes

To change the dome address, protocol, parity or baud rate using the OSD:
1. Enter preset 75 on your controller.
2. Select one of the following:
1 Change Dome (Camera) address
2 Change Protocol
3 Change Baud Rate
4 Change Parity
3. Do one of the following:
Enter a numerical dome address.
Select a protocol: Diamond, MAXPRO-mode, VCL-485, VCL UTC,
Pelco P, Pelco D, IntelliBus.
Select a baud rate: 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400,
57600, or 115200.
Select a parity: Even, Odd, or None.
Broadcast command receive mode cannot be used with domes configured for
IntelliBus™ protocol.
You can enable or disable the broadcast command receive mode using special
presets 73 and 74. When broadcast command mode is enabled, all domes
receive the commands sent from the controller to any dome address. Only use
the broadcast command mode to change common settings, such as to
standardize the OSD language on all the monitors in the system.
To enable the broadcast command receive mode:
1. Enter preset 73 on your controller. The message
displayed on the screen for a few seconds. Also, the letter
after the dome address.
2. Complete the required commands to all the enabled domes.
3. When the command is complete for all the domes, it is recommended that
you disable the feature across the network for these same domes.
To disable the broadcast command receive mode:
Enter preset 74 on your controller. The message
is displayed on the screen for a few seconds. The letter B is no longer
displayed after the dome address.
