2. Test Command Functions
Test functions
are used to clarify and pinpoint malfunc-
tions in accordance with the status codes and to manipulate
operations in the machine
by entering an appropriate test
command.
The status code can be checked, changed, or
cancelled
by the
test
command
function.
In addition,
various check-out functions may be performed.
(1) Actuation of the test command functions.

Depress CLEAR, REPEAT, ZERO, and PAUSE keys in
that order. All of the indicators on the operation panel
will go out, and the machine wil! be ready to accept
test commands.
If you
do
not
complete
the entering
of CLEAR,
REPEAT,
ZERO, and PAUSE
keys within 5 seconds,
the copier will not go into the test mode. You will have
to perform the command entry all over again.
Program the test command
by entering the two-digit
command code. Although any number of digits can be
entered through the keyboard, only the last two digits
are effective.
Depression
of the
PSW
after
the two
digit entry,
enables the test program as defined by the key entry.
To change the command,
press the PAUSE
key. The
test program
under execution is terminated and all of
front panel indicators will go out. The control! returns
to Step (2) and is ready for a new entry.
To terminate the test operation, press the CLEAR key.
The control will return to the copier mode.

Depression of the PAUSE key will discontinue the
test operation for the test commands listed below:
01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 09, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16,
18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 40, 41, 42, 66, 67.

Test command,
13 and
14, are used to clear the
contents of the test command memory stored in the
LSI, the program will clear automatically upon the
completion of the test programs, 13 or 14.
After
this, the
machine
will go to the ordinary
operational mode.
