2)
Clean
the optical
system
(table glass, lens, mirrors,
copy lamp, and reflector).
Remove the auto exposure sensor (see page [8]-1, 12)
and clean the surface of the photosensor with a cloth
dampened with alcohol.
NOTE:
Wiping with a dry cloth will impart an elec-
trostatic charge to the sensor and will attract
more dust.
Slide the drum sensitivity switch (DS-SW) to a position
that matches first digit of the drum grade number.
@ Make an all half tone copy on as (10 x 14", or B4)
paper in the manual
feed mode at 1:1. Check for an
even
front to rear exposure.
If the copy is uneven,
adjust exposure control plates (see page [8] -5).
@® Set the auto exposure
control
switch to the ''N"
position.
NOTE:
The switch is set to ''N" position when a new
drum is installed. Otherwise, no switch change
is required.
@® Make a copy of the Test Chart (UKOG-0089CSZZ).
Set the manual
exposure mode to 5.0 in the normal
(1:1) mode. Adjust the VR201
on the CL-Reg PWB so
that the 0.5 strip is slightly copied. (KODAK gray scale:
