3. Clearance Adjustment between the Doctor Blade
and the MG Roller
The clearance
between
the MG roller sleeve and the DV
doctor blade should be adjusted to 2.0+0.05mm. Move the
DV doctor blade in the arrow direction to adjust.
Use the DV clearance gauge UKOG-0112FCZZ.

4. Main Pole Adjustment

Load the developing unit with developer, and wipe a finger
gently across the MG
roller surface.
A dark band about
10mm wide will appear to indicate the location of the main
pole inside the MG roller. Adjust the center of the dark
band to 25.5+0.2mm
from the base of the doctor blade
with the MG adjusting screw.

5. DV Connector Wiring
The developing unit connector wiring differs depending on
the kind of developer used.
The gray wire from the #2-pin of the connector must be
connected
to one
of #5-pin to #8-pin of the connector
according to the developer kind. (See the figure below.)

#2-pin to #5-pin (TSW1): Black developing unit
#2-pin to #6-pin (TSW2): Red developing unit
#2-pin to #7-pin (TSW3): Blue developing unit
#2-pin to #8-pin (TSW4): Brown developing unit
As the #2-pin of the service parts developing
unit is left
unconnected, it must be connected according to the devel-
oper color used.
