. General Description

A teflon roller is used for the upper heat roller and a
silicon roller is used for the lower heat roller.
®
The cleaning roller is impregnated
with
silicon oil to
increase the cleaning effect of the heat rollers. The upper
cleaning roller cleans the area where the thermistor is in
contact.

Three separator pawls are used for the upper heat roller.

temperature
is set to
180°C and drops to 120°C in power standby.

1) Remove
the two screws that secure the paper exit
guide.
(Front frame side)
Remove the paper exit guide securing screw.
@) Open the fusing unit.
8 Pivot the paper exit guide to the paper exit side.
