(1) Exposure balance adjustment
The exposure balance has to be adjusted whenever the copy
lamp is replaced. Make a half-tone copy in the normal (1:1)
mode,
then adjust the exposure
balance
by moving the
exposure
contro!
plates in the arrow
directions A or B.
Direction
A makes
the exposure
darker
and direction B
makes the exposure lighter.

(2) Lens base unit location adjustment
(1) Move and adjust the lens base unit so that three lens
base positioning screws attached to the lens base unit
are closely attached to the dark box positioning plate
at three locations.
(2) Fix the lens base unit.
Must be closely attached.

Focus adjustment is required whenever the lens base unit is
replaced.

@ Set the copier in the normal (1:1) mode.
@ Move
the No.1
mirror
holding bracket
in the arrow
direction to adjust the focus.

NOTE:
The
No.1
mirror
holding bracket securing screw
cannot
be
removed
unless
the
No.1
mirror
is
removed.
Follow the direction to adjust the focus
(No.1 mirror
position), whenever the lens base unit has been replaced.
qa Mark the position of the No.1 mirror holding bracket
on the Dark box base.

Deduct the lens number of the new lens unit from the
lens number of the old lens unit. The lens number is
printed on the label attached on the lens unit base.
(Ex):
Old lens unit: No. —2.0
New lens unit: No.+3
New lens unit number — old Jens unit number = +3
— (—2) = +5.

If the result is positive, move the No.1
mirror holding
bracket
parallel from
the () marked
position
in the
arrow direction (+) by the given number (mm) and fix
it there. If the resuit is negative, move the bracket in
the arrow direction (—).
(Ex):
The No.1 mirror holding bracket is moved 5mm in
the direction (+).
(4) Copy skew adjustment-1
When a copy skew is seen, adjust the location of the No.1
mirror holding bracket in the arrow direction A or B.
