IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the black test lead is connected to a
good chassis ground.
When the digital multimeter
is used, connect the test
leads as follows:
Red clip to the negative jack of the meter.
Blue clip to the positive jack of the meter.
And set the meter range as follows:
Knob-1 to DCmA range.
Knob-2 to 0.2.
When the ammeter
is used, connect the test leads as
follows:
Red clip to the negative jack of the ammeter.
Blue clip to the positive jack of the ammeter.
(i) Measure the current at the front and rear frame sides.
The current difference must be within 2.0uUA.
a. Enter the test command 09. The main high voltage

b. Measure
the drum
current
at the front and rear
frame sides.

the test harness microswitch
is off, the
front
frame
side current
is indicated
on the
meter.
®@ When the test harness microswitch is on, the rear
frame
side drum
current
is indicated
on

meter.

corona unit back in the machine.
