1. General Description
A zoom
lens is used for the SF-7200,
and exposure
is
controlled
by electronically
varying the intensity of the
copy lamp. The voltage applied to the copy lamp is stabil-
ized to enhances uniform exposure.
A slit exposure and stationary light source is used in com-
bination with a moving original table. Because the internal
zoom
lens position is shifted relative to the mirrors, reduc-
tion
and
enlargement
is achieved
without
affecting the
distance
between
the original and the drum. The mirror
position and angle does not change
as in conventional
optical
systems.
The
lens is positioned
by means
of a
stepping motor.
Copy lamp
The original table is movable and the original aligned to the
reference jine at the front left of the original glass.
