2. Holding the system board holder, push the system board toward the back of the system till it is seated.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the processor socket when replacing a faulty system board, ensure that you cover
the processor socket with the processor dust cover.
3. Using Phillips #2 screwdriver, tighten the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.

1. Replace the following:

Trusted platform module
b.
Internal PERC card
c.
IDSDM/vFlash module card
d.
All expansion cards and risers
e.
Processors and heat sink modules
f. Processors blanks (if applicable)
g.
Memory modules and memory module blanks
h.
LOM riser card
i.
Air shroud
2. Reconnect all cables to the system board.
NOTE:
Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable
securing bracket.
3. Install the
system
cover.
4. Place the system into the rack. For more information, see the Rail Installation Guide at www.dell.com/xcseriesmanuals.

Open the drive

c. Update the BIOS and iDRAC versions.
d. Re-enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For more information, see the Re-enabling the TPM for BitLocker users section.
