How to Read the In-depth Manual

The In-depth Manual has the following sections. Each function has reference data that allows you to find the cross-
referenced information. Refer to "Configuration using KPG-111D/ KPG-111DN" for functions that can be configured using
KPG-111D/ KPG-111DN. Abbreviations for sections are used to specify the documents.
Function Reference (FUNC)
Describes all functions of the transceiver.
Field Programming Reference (FRPG)
Describes how to configure the transceiver data by using KPG-111D/ KPG-111DN.
Customer Support Information (CSI)
Describes the methods for installing options of the transceiver and the adjustment methods.
FUNC (K)/Ver 4.00
K Printed or labeled on the outside of carton and the model name plate on the transceiver.
Can be viewed in the Transceiver Information dialog box of KPG-111D/ KPG-111DN.
Or, for any transceivers other than NX-200S/ NX-300S, firmware version of the
transceiver can be viewed by the following ways.
Portable transceiver:
4.00.00 Turning the transceiver ON while pressing and holding the Side 1 key cause the
firmware version to appear on the main display.
Mobile transceiver:
Turning the transceiver ON while pressing and holding the Triangle key cause the
firmware version to appear on the main display.
Can be viewed in the About KPG-111D dialog box or About KPG-111DN dialog box of
V4.00
KPG-111D/ KPG-111DN.
