* Electrical target error is defined as the difference between actual and predicted electrical operating
times. OPLOGTRIG receives the target error ranges, resulting from comparing these errors against
threshold values, at its ELCERRGLx inputs. If at least one of the error ranges has a value of 3 (hi-hi)
or 4 (lo-lo), an operation mode with alarm is declared.
12.19.6.3

Fingerprint records trigger

Fingerprint records are records of initial "actual" switching operations, which are retained even if the
maximum number of operation records has been exceeded and the oldest records are overwritten.
The total number of fingerprint records is defined by FPRecords. The setting FPRecMode defines the
number of fingerprint records by operation type (Close or Open): If "CombinedTotalRcrds" is
selected, any number of C or O operations will be stored. With "EqualOpnClsRcrds", half of the
database is reserved for closing operations and the other half for opening operations.
After first start-up of the IED, or after database clearing, each switching operation with "Actual" mode
will be added until the limit of FPRecords has been reached. These initial records are stored both in
the database for regular operations and in the one for fingerprint records. This is a background
process and requires no further configuration.
12.19.6.4

Clearing operation records and fingerprint records

For clearing the database of operation records, the RSTOPREC output shall be connected to the
CLROPLOG input of CLROPLOG function. This output is activated by activating the RSTOP input or
through Clear operation records in the Clear menu of LHMI or WHMI.
For clearing the database of fingerprint records, the RSTFPREC output shall be connected to the
CLRFPRCD input of CLROPLOG function. This output is activated by activating the RSTFP input or
through Clear fingerprint records in the Clear menu of LHMI or WHMI.
The clearing outputs remain active as long as the corresponding binary inputs are active.
12.19.6.5

Function blocking

Activation of binary input BLOCKFUNC will block processing of any received information in
OPLOGTRIG: No operation record or fingerprint records is triggered, and no operation mode is
generated. This condition is indicated by output BLKLOGOUT, which remains active for the same
time as BLOCKFUNC input.

Description of conditions
When any compensation is enabled but its sensor status is
faulty.
Reduced accuracy operation is monitored by the COPSIGLOS
input.
When the mode 1441 has electrical target error* alarms
detected above the specified limits.
When a controlled switching operation is monitored to have
taken place as expected. An operation is actual when the
circuit breaker is either electrically or mechanically monitored to
have operated within 300 ms after the controlled commands
are issued.
The operation is declared actual when none of the above
conditions prevail.
