3-4. Replacement of Periodic Replacement Part
3-4-10. Replacing the Filter Regulator and
Mist Separator Element

When replacing the filter element, turn off the power and
disconnect the air first.
Replacing the filter element with the power supplied will
cause the parts and liquid to spill out, resulting in injuries
or liquid entering the eyes.
This section describes the method for replacing the filter
regulator element, which is the same method for replacing
the mist separator element.
Preparations
1. Stop the external air supply.
2. Remove the residual pressure of the external air.
If it cannot be removed due to the structure, turn ON
the power supply of the FVS-1000, and press the red
button on the electromagnetic valve.
3. Turn OFF the AC power supplied to the FVS-1000.

To prevent electric shock, be sure to turn OFF the AC
power supplied to the FVS-1000 before beginning
replacement.
Installation
1. Removing the air filter cover
Remove the four screws, and remove the air filter cover
from air blower assembly.

2. Removing the case assembly
(1) Remove the drain assembly.
(2) Rotate the case assembly of the filter regulator in the
arrow direction to remove.

The O-ring will be removed at the same time. Be sure
not to lose this part.
3. Replacing the element
(1) Remove the screw of the buffle, and remove the
element.
(2) Install a new element, and secure it with buffle and
screw.

4. Installing the case assembly
(1) Install the case assembly in the filter regulator.
(2) Install the drain assembly in the filter regulator.

Be sure to connect the tube to the drain.
If the tube is not connected, fluid may spill out and
enter the eyes or adhere to clothing.
If the fluid enters the eye, rinse thoroughly with water
and consult an eye physician.
