3-4-5. Replacing the P Roller 35 Assembly/P
Roller 16 Assembly
This section describes the replacement procedures of the P
roller 35 assembly of the S side pad assembly.
The replacement procedures of the T side pad assembly are
the same as S side.
Moreover, P roller 16 assembly can also be replaced as the
same way.
Tools
. Pad roller clearance adjustment tool
For 35 mm pad roller clearance adjustment:
Consists of four positive films (0.5 mm thick)
For 16 mm pad roller clearance adjustment:
Consists of three negative films (0.45 mm thick)
. Test film for running check (with splice)
Preparations
1. Put the unit into STANDBY OFF mode.
2. Turn off the AC power supply which supplies the
power to the FVS-1000.

To prevent an electric shock, be sure to turn off the
power of the AC power supply which supplies the
power to the FVS-1000 before removing.

Removal
1. Removing the pas assembly
Rotate the two one-touch screws of the pad assembly by
hand in the counterclockwise direction, and remove the
pad assembly.
