3-4-7. Replacing the Film Guide (G)
Assembly
The two film guide (G) assemblies are installed in the gate
base (35) assembly, and one film guide (G) assembly is
installed in the gate base (16) assembly.
This section describes the replacement procedures of the
film guide (G) assembly of the gate base (35) assembly.
The replacement procedures for the gate base (16) assem-
bly are the same.
Removal
1. Removing the gate base (35) assembly
Remove the gate base (35) assembly.
(Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
2. Removing the integrator assembly
Remove the integrator assembly from the gate base (35)
assembly. (Refer to Section 1-11-4.)
3. Removing the film guide (G) assemblies
(1) Remove the two screws, and remove the chassis cover
(35) and two insulating sheet (35)s.

(2) Remove the two E-rings (E-2.3), and remove the film
guide (G) assemblies.

At this time, the compression springs are removed
together. Be careful not to lose them.

Installation
4. Installing the film guide (G) assemblies
(1) Install the new film guide (G) assemblies into the
holes of the gate rail (35) assembly, and pass the
compression springs, and then fasten them with two E-
rings.
(2) Install the chassis cover (35) and two insulating sheet
(35)s with two screws.
5. Installing the integrator assembly
(1) Clean the gate base (35) assembly. (Refer to Section 3-
2-1.)
(2) Install the integrator assembly to the gate base (35)
assembly.
6. Installing the gate base (35) assembly
Install the gate base (35) assembly.
