(1) The Slit Lens Position Check

Adjustment
1. Install the SMPTE Buzz Track film.
(Refer to Section 2-4.)

With this film, the outside of the normal scanning unit
of the optical audio track is the modulator.
2. Play the film, turn the audio lens adjustment ring to the
left and right, and adjust the slit lens position so that
the oscilloscope screen becomes as shown in Fig. 1.

(2) Crosstalk Adjustment

1. Install the Dolby Cat. No.97. (Refer to Section 2-4.)
2. Loosen the set screw on the audio head flange, and
turn the audio head flange until the oscilloscope screen
becomes as shown in Fig. 2.
3. After adjusting, tighten the set screw on the audio head
flange.
4. If no problems are detected in the check after adjust-
ment, apply lock compound to the set screw on the
flange, audio head.
