Be careful not to damage the glass surface of the lamp or
not to make it dirty.
4. Installing the lamp
Connect the connectors of the a lamp with the terminals of
the lamp house in the direction of the arrow.

3-4. Replacement of Periodic Replacement Part
Before scrapping the used lamp
Nip the chip off at the rear side of the lamp with nippers
etc., then make V shaped cutting on it with turning nippers
in the directions of arrow until you hear the sound of gas's
going out the lamp. Be sure to let gas out of the lamp
before scrapping it.

When cutting, cover the lamp with a towel etc. so as not to
scatter the cut pieces of the chip off.

5. Installing the lamp house assembly
Push the lamp house assembly to the unit as far as it will
go, and tighten it with four screws.
6. Installing the gate base assembly
Install the gate base assembly. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
7. Performing the electrical adjustments
After replacement, perform the "Light amount adjustment"
and "Gain Adjustment" of Section 6-6 "Lamp House
Adjustment".
