4-7. Replacing the Guide Roller Assembly
(4) Put the 35GR height gauge on the 35GR
reference base assembly, and check the
height of the guide roller in the direction
shown in the figure while pressing the height
gauge gently against the 35GR reference base
assembly.

Be very careful not to make damage to the
sprocket or the roller with the gauge at the
time of the height check.
Specifications:
Contact the lower surface of the 35GR height
gauge with the film support section on the
lower flange of the guide roller.
If not to meet the specification, perform step
(5) and later.
(5) Loosen the setscrew of the bearing retainer at
the upper portion of the guide roller, and
rotate the bearing retainer to meet the specifi-
cation.
(6) After tightening the setscrew, recheck the
height to meet the specification.
(7) Remove the gauge.
6. R11 guide roller height adjustment
Adjust the GR11 guide roller height in the
following steps.
(1) Put the 35G height gauge on the guide plate
assembly, and check the height of the guide
roller in the direction shown in the figure
while pressing the height gauge gently
against the guide plate assembly
Specifications:
Contact the 35G height gauge with the lower
flange of the guide roller.
If not to meet the specifications, perform step
(2) and later.
(2) Loosen the setscrew of the bearing retainer at
the upper portion of the guide roller, and
rotate the bearing retainer to meet the specifi-
cation.
(3) After tightening the setscrew, recheck the
height to meet the specification
