7.4.3 Pin Functions in Each Mode
The pin functions of port 3 differ between modes 1, 3 and 5 and modes 6 and 7. The pin functions
in each mode are described below.
Modes 1, 3 and 5: All pins of port 3 automatically become data input/output pins. Figure 7-10
shows the pin functions in modes 1, 3 and 5.
Modes 6 and 7: Input or output can be selected separately for each pin in port 3. A pin becomes
an output pin if the corresponding P3DDR bit is set to 1, and an input pin if this bit is cleared to 0.
Figure 7-11 shows the pin functions in modes 6 and 7.
