Step 7 Install the auxiliary fixtures on the fan support using four M6x16 bolts (standard
configuration), as shown by (2) in the following figure. Remove the screws that
secure the fan support to the equipment frame.

Step 8 Remove the fan and fan support using the removal fixture at the bottom of the
fan support.
Step 9 Remove the six screws that secure the fan to the fan support to separate the fan
from the fan support.

Step 10 Replace the old fan with a new one. Secure the new fan to the fan support, install
the fan support in the original position using the auxiliary fixtures, connect the fan
terminal, secure it using cable ties, and install the guards on the supply air side of
the fan.
