Troubleshooting: BRC Config Files and Code File
The BRC will not boot or operate correctly unless a valid configuration file and code file is stored in
the flash filing system of the Site Controller. Use the method described in General Check of a Site
Controller File to ensure that the file shown in the following table is valid for the BR of interest. For
Code File ensure that either brc.code.1 or brc.code.2 is selected as current file

Site Reference States - status bts (Continued)
Explanation
Reports on configured EAS alarms and will advise which alarm contact
is active
Reports status of the fan kits
Gives the status of the site, whether it is in Wide, Site or No Trunking and a
reason for example 'No Control Channel'
Reports on status of the power supply module and reports trap state of 'PSU
Input Fault' with reason 'Power Supply Battery Voltage Failure'
Module fault
Status of the Site Controllers ethernet ports
Gives status of the GPS signal and timing
Config files will only normally be present for installed BRCs.
