Configuration
Control, measuring and interlocking is fully configured, including communication with other
bays such as other lines and the bus coupler over GOOSE.
The following should be noted. The configuration is made with the binary input and binary
output boards in the basic IED delivery. In many cases this is sufficient, in other cases, for
example with full control of all apparatuses included more IO cards are required. Our proposal
for a full version with control is to use three binary input modules and two binary output
modules. For systems without Substation Automation a second binary output board might be
required.
