5 Diagnosing and Rectifying Faults
Meaning
The port is
functioning
correctly and its
link is connected.
The port is
functioning
correctly but
isolated. No link is
set up.
A port inloop
(diagnosis mode)
occurs.
The link is
connected and
data is being
transmitted.
If the diagnosis
status indicator is
off, no optical
module is
installed or the
optical module is
not receiving
optical signals
properly.
An
overtemperature
alarm is
generated if the
connection status
indicator is
blinking green.
