Step 4 In the navigation tree, choose Session.
Step 5 Select Connection type in Serial, as shown in
Figure 8-40 PuTTY Configuration
Step 6 Click Open.
The PuTTY window is displayed.
Step 7 Enter a user name and password.
If the login is successful, the server host name is displayed on the left of the
prompt.
