The display tab provides controls for configuring the SMD display.
Each line can display one of eight default
(background) functions and any of "temporary"
status reports. The "background" functions are
those that appear at idle. The status messages
appear depending on operating status.
Contrast:
Controls the LCD contrast.
Color:
Sets the LCD backlight color.
Report time:
Sets the length of time that transient
(status change) reports remain visible.
Set Strings:
Set the "Welcome Message" to be displayed when SMD is initialized.
Set Defaults:
Returns the display to factory settings.
IMPORTANT: The settings on this tab are recalled only when Station Master Deluxe is connected to microHAM
Router. In order for SMD to function in stand alone mode, the settings must be saved to Station Master
Deluxe as power-up defaults using "Device | Store as Power-Up Settings."
