The serial communication cannot be established
Check the following items.
Check item
Is the assignment of the serial interface different?
Have the configured options been changed?
Ethernet communications to the Windows part are not possible
Issue a ping from the PC to the product, and confirm the response.
If abnormal ping response
Check item
Is the Ethernet cable wired correctly?
Is the Ethernet cable broken?
Are the PC and product IP address segments different?
On the connected LAN, are there any duplicate IP addresses with the product
and PCs?
Has the product been replaced?
Is the network under high load?
Is the specified IP address correct?
Is connection being prevented by the Windows firewall?
Is the connection prohibited by the anti-virus software installed?
If normal ping response
Check item
Are servers for the used functions operating?
Is connection being prevented by the Windows firewall?
Is connection being prevented by installed antivirus software?

Corrective action
Assign the serial interface in the direction of serial communication.
Acquire the currently configured options, and then add options to be added.
Corrective action
Correctly wire the Ethernet cable.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
• Change the PC and product IP addresses to the same segments.
• If through a LAN on a different segment via a gateway, consult with the
connected LAN network administrator.
Consult with the administrator of the connected LAN, and ensure that there
are no duplicated IP addresses.
Reset all terminals connected to the network.
• Consult with the administrator of the connected LAN and disconnect
devices connected by Ethernet that may cause a high load.
• Change the connection of the personal computer and this product to a
different network.
Specify the correct IP address.
Change Windows firewall settings.
Change the antivirus software settings.

Start the servers for the used functions.
