Removal
Use this procedure to remove the motherboard from IRC5 Compact.

Before commencing any work inside the cab-
inet, please observe the safety information in
section DANGER - Make sure that the main
power has been switched off! on page

The unit is sensitive to ESD. Before handling

Remove the top cover of the cabinet.
Remove the left and right side covers of the
cabinet.
Remove the Compact flash memory.
Remove the PCI boards.
Remove the two attachment screws for the
safety board unit and gently pull it out a little
bit.
Remove the contactor unit (contactors at-
tached with plate) attachment screws and
move the unit leftwards a little bit.
Detach the mode switch connector inside the
cabinet.
