linecard

Pre-configure a line card in a currently empty slot of the system or a different line card type for the slot. To pre-configure
a 4-port 40G line card, refer to the linecard command.
C-Series, E-Series
Syntax
linecard number card-type
Parameters
number
Enter the keyword aux 0 to configure the auxiliary terminal
connection.
NOTE: This option is supported on E-Series only.
Enter the keyword console 0 to configure the console port. The
console option for the S-Series is <0-0>.
number
Enter the keyword vty followed by a number from 0 to 9 to configure
a virtual terminal line for Telnet sessions. The system supports 10
Telnet sessions.
(OPTIONAL) Enter a number from 1 to 9 as the last virtual terminal line
to configure. You can configure multiple lines at one time.

Original command
– restricts the incoming connections to a particular IP address in an IP access

E600/E6001, and 0 to 5 on the E300..
