9.7 Memory extension
The ACS-8 is equipped with a 1MByte memory which is mounted on the CPU board.
The following additional memory extensions are available:
- 026596
- 026597
- 026598
Only one slot is available for additional memory cards. The best memory extension size can be determined
by the calculation described below.

9.7.1 Calculation of the memory requirements

The memory requirements depend on the type and number of cards used as well as on the number of
bookings to be stored.
Use the table in the appendix to simplify the determination of the required memory and memory extension.
The following example explains the use of this table:
1 MB RAM memory card
2 MB RAM memory card
3 MB RAM memory card
