9.4.1 Communication module information
The communication module is an optional component enabling the connection of RS 485 modules. The board
is installed on the free mounting surface. Each communication module is equipped with 2 floating RS 485
outputs.
If the potential has to be determined, a jumper can be placed to link from terminal 1 or terminal 6 to terminal
"-".
A maximum of 2 communication module boards can be installed (see previous page). This means that an
ACS-8 can operate up to 4 separate lines (see chapter 8.3 Configuration examples).
