Configuring Wireless Settings

The Cisco Edge 340 Series device supports the following wireless modes:
To select a desired wireless mode, click Wireless in the left pane and configure the settings for each
mode.
Configuring AP Mode
If you select AP from the Current Mode drop-down list, you can configure the SSID name, broadcast
SSID, wireless mode, channel bandwidth, channel number, and security settings for the AP mode. See
Figure

Access Point (AP)—A device that allows wireless devices to connect to a wired network using
Wi-Fi.
Station—A wireless connection to connect to the other networks.
Off—The wireless function is disabled.
3-15. Click Apply to save the changes and Reset to restore the default values.
