4.12 Package execution
Package execution using NCU/PPU
If an NCU/PPU is involved in the package execution (NCU/PPU data area active), observe the
following:
● To prevent errors during package execution, the NCU/PPU system state must be consistent.
● Before starting a CMC package, the NCU/PPU must be in a state in which the ""RDY"" and
""RUN"" LEDs illuminate green and the 7-segment display displays a "6" with flashing point.
● The SINAMICS data must be consistent and match the hardware configuration.
If this state is not given before starting a CMC commissioning package, it can be established
by a general reset / load standard data of the individual control components.
Procedure
Make the following settings for the NCU/PPU :
1. NC: S3 = 1 and OFF/ON.
2. Then S3 = 0P and LC: S4 = 3 and OFF/ON.
3. Wait until booting in 6 with flashing point (this can take several minutes) and only then
perform the general reset request(S4 ...2.. 3.. 2..).
4. Then S4 back to 0.
5. SINAMICS: Empty the folder user/sinamics/data on the CF card and ON/OFF.

4.12.2.1

Executing a standard package

Precondition
If the package to be executed under Windows should also access the NCU/PPU data (the
"NCU" area is activated in the package), the NCU/PPU must access a shared directory on the
Windows computer (PCU/PG/PC) on which the package is executed.
Note
If an active firewall prevents access from the NCU/PPU to the PG/PC, the package execution
cannot be started from the PG/PC.
In this case, the package can be executed on the PCU50 or deployed as a Linux package.
